Made it to the Hare Krishna temple in Springville.  That was an experience.  Lots of fun and lots of laughs :)
Bonnie's daughter's wedding.  It was beautiful.  I saw Elder Brimhall there briefly...but he left before I had the chance to say hello.  I was very surprised to see him there.  She makes a beautiful bride.
Well I took my first cruise in May with Kami.  Due to Swine Flu we were re-routed to Catalina Island which was my favorite part of the trip.  I got to kayak and tour the island on golf carts.  It was great.
My brother, Troy graduated highschool.  It's exciting.  He's going to try and be in the MTC  by November.
My cousin Alex got to perform in the play Seussical as Horton.  That family is very talented.  Cute play.  My favorites were Gertrude and Jojo :)
Went caving with friends.  That was cool.  I got to see the heart of Timpanogos caves.  Way cool.

Car wreck

I've seen too many accidents.  I didn't see this one but it was worse...family rolled the car and ended up in the hospital.  Coming home from our family reunion, my uncle, aunt, and 1st cousin rolled the car and went off the edge of the freeway.  No serious damage but aches, and staples, and pain.

Luck o' the Irish

This beautiful bouquet of flowers was left on my car the other day with a note that said, "May the luck o' the irish be with you."  It made for the start of a great day :)

Matchmaker, Matchmaker

In honor of our friend's birthday....the song "matchmaker" was sung to her in style.  She turned 25.  Half a century gone.  It was a fun night.

The Need for Good Snow Tires!!!!!!!!!

This morning I was driving to work and I got to about 106th south going towards SLC.  The car directly infront of me started skidding from hitting some black ice.  He was at first skidding back and forth in his lane and then he turned sideways and went into the carpool lane.  The car in the carpool lane barely nudged him and it caused him to spin around and then he was sliding towards the slow lane.  He passed the fast lane and the middle lane just fine.  The pickup truck in the slow lane hit him dead center on the side of his car.  The pickup truck then went sliding off the freeway and came to a stop.  The car was caused to spin full circle again and then came to a stop facing the wrong direction on the side of the road.
I was PETRIFIED.  I slowed down to 5 MPH for about 5 minutes.  Then I gradually began picking up speed.  I began bawling and saying a prayer to my Heavenly Father....for right then in that minute, I realized how precious life is.  I called my dad, who was also traveling to work, and told him the story and how grateful I am.
A big snow storm hit during the day and the commute home was horrible.  It took me an hour and 40 minutes to get home.  I did a lot of skidding and wishing my new tires were on....so
I called Costco and plan on putting my new tires on Friday morning.  No more bad trips....hopefully....as long as I survive til Friday.  The storms are suppose to continue through the week.
