Car wreck
I've seen too many accidents. I didn't see this one but it was worse...family rolled the car and ended up in the hospital. Coming home from our family reunion, my uncle, aunt, and 1st cousin rolled the car and went off the edge of the freeway. No serious damage but aches, and staples, and pain.

The Need for Good Snow Tires!!!!!!!!!
This morning I was driving to work and I got to about 106th south going towards SLC. The car directly infront of me started skidding from hitting some black ice. He was at first skidding back and forth in his lane and then he turned sideways and went into the carpool lane. The car in the carpool lane barely nudged him and it caused him to spin around and then he was sliding towards the slow lane. He passed the fast lane and the middle lane just fine. The pickup truck in the slow lane hit him dead center on the side of his car. The pickup truck then went sliding off the freeway and came to a stop. The car was caused to spin full circle again and then came to a stop facing the wrong direction on the side of the road.
I was PETRIFIED. I slowed down to 5 MPH for about 5 minutes. Then I gradually began picking up speed. I began bawling and saying a prayer to my Heavenly Father....for right then in that minute, I realized how precious life is. I called my dad, who was also traveling to work, and told him the story and how grateful I am.
A big snow storm hit during the day and the commute home was horrible. It took me an hour and 40 minutes to get home. I did a lot of skidding and wishing my new tires were on....so
I called Costco and plan on putting my new tires on Friday morning. No more bad trips....hopefully....as long as I survive til Friday. The storms are suppose to continue through the week.
